Stone & Soapstone Care Guide

DAASI's soapstone and hand-painted stone incense holders — like Akshaya, Tarini, and Panna — are carved from natural material, so each one carries its own texture, colour, and character. Caring for them is simple.

Everyday cleaning

Wipe stone pieces with a soft, dry cloth, or a slightly damp one for a deeper clean. Dry immediately afterward to avoid water spots on painted or unsealed surfaces.

What to avoid

Avoid dropping stone pieces, as they can chip or crack on impact. Steer clear of harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbers, which can dull hand-painted finishes or natural stone texture.

Natural variation

Because these pieces are cut and finished from natural stone, slight variations in colour, veining, and texture are normal and part of what makes each one one-of-a-kind — not a defect.

Everyday use

These holders are designed for daily use in a meditation corner, altar, or bedside table, gently catching ash as incense burns down. A quick wipe after use keeps them looking fresh.
