Purity & Lab Testing

Every DAASI copper piece is handcrafted in small batches — and rather than ask you to take our word for it, we sent samples of each product to an independent lab for testing. Here's what came back.

How it was tested

Each product was tested by Widmans Laboratory (Gurgaon, India) using ICP atomic emission spectrometry, following the BS EN 15079:2015 standard for copper and copper-alloy composition analysis. Samples were received on August 18, 2026, tested on August 20, 2026, and the reports were issued on August 21, 2026.

Why this matters

Lead content across all four products is very low — a meaningful data point for pieces that touch your mouth or skin every day. We're sharing the real numbers for each product individually, rather than a single blanket claim, because that's the more honest way to represent handcrafted items that can vary slightly piece to piece.

This page reflects composition testing only. It is not a medical claim, and none of our products are intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
